As an airline pilot, I’ve been able to travel the world and always had a camera with me,
not to take snapshots, but to capture content that I loved.
Having more days off a month than I knew what to do with, I was able to take my passion to a second career.
As a pilot, drone photography immediately stuck out to me because in the early days, you needed a pilot certificate to be able to operate one commercially. Although today, anyone can buy a drone and take pictures, but it takes experience and aptitude to capture compelling photos and video plus be able to navigate the complicated world of licensing, insurance and regulation.
